Upgrading our Facilities at the Institut Brenda Strafford

We are excited to announce the inauguration of our new patient reception and waiting area at the Institut Brenda Strafford!

The ribbon cutting was done by a patient, Mida. She was accompanied by Institut Brenda Strafford's Executive Director, Rood Merveille, and Medical Director, Dr. Pasteur Nshimyimana.

Mida is from Miragoâne, a city about two hours drive from the Institut, traveling the night before to ensure she could be at the Institut. It was her first visit to the Institut, saying “I feel proud to be in a beautiful, clean facility.”

The new waiting room was built by a local contractor. It has the capacity to seat 200 people, helping us provide a dignified experience for the more than 300 people who pass through the Institut each day.
