Impact Report

In 2022, generous sponsorship, donations and participation allowed us to purchase Google Nest Hub Max, LG Smart TV, Smart Water Sensor, Nest Protect Smoke and CO, iRobot Robot Vacuum, and smart lighting to help older adults age in place. This enabled BSF to share knowledge of these technologies through the seniors serving sector. Many thanks to all who supported this initiative!

Benefiting Project

Proceeds raised at the 2023 Golf Classic will benefit BSF's Heart Home Network supporting transitions from domestic violence.

Heart Home Network (HHN) provides second stage and progressive housing for up to 2 years to women and children leaving domestic violence situations. HHN offers 34 self-contained second stage shelter apartments and 51 self-contained progressive housing apartments. The result is one of the largest post-emergency shelters in the country. Proceeds from the 2023 BSF Golf Classic will go directly towards HHN's critical programs and services offered.

Communities Directory

In the spirit of respect, reconciliation and gratitude, we honour and acknowledge that our services are provided on the traditional territories of Treaty 7, which includes the Blackfoot Confederacy comprising the Siksika, Piikani and Kainai First Nations, the Tsuut’ina First Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda First Nation including the Chiniki, Bearspaw and Good Stoney Bands. These territories are also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta Region 3. We are grateful for the many First Nations who have lived in and cared for these lands for generations. We acknowledge that we have ongoing responsibilities to protect, honour and celebrate all of life within our shared communities.
