A special program within a continuing care facility providing a home, specialized care, programs and peace of mind to aging adults who are living with a developmental disability. Residents of this specialized program live in a secure location, with their own private room, a common area for socializing, enhanced recreation programs plus social work and physician support. Care plans and activities are designed to meet the individual’s needs.
We provide adults aging with a developmental disability publicly-funded Long Term Care that can be accessed through Alberta Health Services Continuing Care. Residents admitted into continuing care facilities are required to pay Accommodation Fees (room and board and other associated costs) as set by the government.
Our seniors care facilities offer the convenience of many on-site amenities and services. Recreational programs provide seniors the opportunity to connect with peers and participate in social activities and holiday gatherings. Other services available include on-site hair and barber salon, daily meals, and basic housekeeping and laundry services.
